Why Would I Need To Create An Entity?
Creating a DarkRP entity is necessary when the addon you are trying to use has entities that are not already configured to be purchasable in-game through the F4 menu. If you are having issues making an entity purchasable, follow this guide.
Step 1: Navigate to the Game Panel and Login
Step 2: Navigate to the File Manager
Step 3: Navigate to the pathway /home/container/garrysmod/addons/darkrpmodification/lua/darkrp_customthings/ in your File Manager and open the entities.lua file.
Step 4: Go to https://www.yourdevtools.com/gmod/darkrp-entity and create your entity.
In the "Category" box, use an Entity Category that you have created in your categories.lua file. For information on how to set this up click here.
Step 5: Generate and Copy Your Code
Step 6: Paste Your Code and Save The jobs.lua File
Step 7: Restart Your Server
